Rivertree Singers desires to delight and inspire arts communities across the globe with meaningful and life-giving experiences that enrich the heart and mind.
Rivertree Singers exists to give voice to the human experience. We do this through the highest level of choral artistry, building connections within our community through music, and supporting and encouraging emerging artists and composers.
Each August, Rivertree Singers holds auditions for new singers in each voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). We are looking for passionate and serious choral musicians who desire a satisfying and life-enriching choral experience.
Our season runs from late August till early May with 4-5 scheduled concert performances. Rehearsals are on Monday nights from 7-9pm. Rivertree Singers sings with a warm, tension-free tone, often without vibrato. Though our members come from different walks of life and have a wide variety of vocations, many are highly experienced singers and may be featured as soloists within the group.
Prospective members are encouraged to listen to recordings of Rivertree Singers on our website or on Youtube.
At your audition, you will be asked to sing a prepared vocal solo of your choice, vocalize to demonstrate your range, and sight-read. Please choose a classical solo, art song or folk hymn that demonstrates your best vocal qualities. An accompanist will be provided.
After you submit your application, you will receive a detailed rehearsal and performance schedule for the 2024-2025 season. You will be expected to review the schedule and discuss any conflicts with the Executive Director or Artistic Director at your audition.
